Professional Background

Dr. S. Thomson, graduate of Boston College, with a PhD in conflict resolution, has been a mediator since 1988. She founded Interpeople Inc. in 1996, and offers training and mediation services in the North Eastern U.S. and internationally. A member of MCFM, ACR & NEACR. Dr. Thomson is adjunct professor in Clark University in Worcester, where she teaches a course in organizational conflict and resolution.

Approach

Mediation is a constructive way to help people resolve their differences. Solutions are custom designed by the parties to suit them. The mediator's role is to guide the process, help people over the bumps, while remaining an impartial provider of information & support for all parties, as they make their own choices.

Fees

Fees for mediating between individuals, within families, etc. are partly responsive to people's income and range between $140-220 / hour. Business and workplace mediations are billed $160/hour.
