He has mediated over 1000 disputes in in a variety of areas including: workplace, discrimination and harassment, team conflict, and family. Justin is a recognized expert in the field of mediation. He is a member of the University of Wisconsin - Superior faculty and teaches in the Mediation & Conflict Resolution program. He has taught Family Law Facilitative Mediation, Civil Law Mediation, Mediation Practicum, and Ethics & State Regulation of Mediation. Justin holds a Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, a Master of Arts in Management and a Master of Business Administration. He is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources from the HR Certification Institute.

Professional Background

Justin L Terch is a professional Human Resources & Mediation expert. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Legal Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Superior and a Master of Business Administration and Master of Arts in Management from The College of Saint Scholastica. He is a Qualified Neutral under Rule 114 of the Minnesota Supreme Court and is authorized to practice mediation in both Minnesota and Wisconsin. Mr. Terch mediates a variety of disputes with emphasis in employment and family law. He formerly held the position of Human Resources Director for a large multi-site business and has significant experience resolving workplace conflict. In 2011, Mr. Terch was invited to join the faculty at the University of Wisconsin - Superior, his alma mater. He currently co-teaches Family Law Facilitative Mediation and Advanced Mediation Practice. He was honored in 2008 by the American Mock Trial Association as a Nationally Ranked, All-American Mediator at John Marshall Law School in Chicago Illinois. He has completed advanced training at Hamline School of Law in St. Paul Minnesota. Justin specializes in family law mediation and arbitration, labor and workplace mediation, and mediation of disputes arising from the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Fair Housing Act (FHA).
