Description of Practice

I am a collaboratively trained lawyer, certified mediator, facilitator, trainer, and settlement advocate practicing in Washington and Oregon with nearly 25 years experience in the areas of family law, business law, conservatorship/guardianship, and real estate law. I provide a safe environment for parties to come to the table to resolve their disputes. I value transparency, respectful interactions, and fairness. I seek to ensure everyone involved in a dispute feels heard and understood, and has the information needed to make good decisions. I provide legal information when desired.

Approach
I provide a safe, coherent place for parties to come to the table to resolve their disputes. I value transparency and fairness, and seek to ensure everyone involved in a dispute feels heard and understood, and has the information needed to make good decisions.
Fees
My base rate is $300 per hour, but I work on a sliding fee scale and regularly reduce fees to make my services affordable to a broad range of clients.
Other Information
I have a particular focus in matters involving pre-marriage planning, transformations of long-term marriages by separation or divorce, spousal support and maintenance, death and dying decisions, trust/guardianship disputes, probate disputes, parenting of special needs children, creation of unique residential schedules, dissolution of closely held businesses, and family business disputes.
